The ThoughtsExplorer application is not for sale or resale, and may be downloaded for personal use only. It is prohibited to re-distribute this application
from any other location. Running the application installer will warn that the 'Publisher is unknown', mainly because of the costs of registering as a verified publisher. This application contains nothing nasty whatsoever, and leaves no background processes running when it is closed. The only automatic actions it takes is to start with Windows, and check once a month for updates - both of which are easily disabled. If your computer is running Windows 10, or even Win 8 or 7, then the Thoughts Explorer installer is probably all that is needed to get up and running. Just downloaded and double click the Setup.exe file. The application is no longer tested below Windows 7. Download ThoughtsExplorer (Approx. 7.4 MB setup.exe Windows only - Sorry, not available for Mac) This application requires the Microsoft NET Framework (V4.7.2) which is installed by default in Windows 10 versions from 2018, and which may also be present in earlier versions of Windows. If when running the ThoughtsExplorer installer it reports that Microsoft NET Framework 4.0 is required, should you download and install the Net Framework from the following Microsoft link. Download NET Framework 4.7.2 from Microsoft and click on the 'Download .NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime' link. If an existing install of ThoughtsExplorer on your computer is failing to update automatically, download a fresh copy of the latest installer from this page, and run this to over-install with the latest version (which preserves your existing quote databases). Thoughts Explorer can be removed from your system using the Uninstaller link provided in the Start Menu |
